WHI’s composite manufacturing capabilities are state-of-the-art and allow us to provide customers with the highest possible service and product quality. WHI’s composite facilities and equipment include a 60,000 sq. ft. facility in Springfield, MA as well as 3 Autoclaves (17 x 8 ft., 10 x 4 ft., 8 ft. x 3 ft.), 9 electric ovens, 6 electric platen presses, 3 clean rooms, a down draft trim room, an OEM-approved testing laboratory, walk-in refrigerated material storage units, 3 temperature-controlled core / material rooms, a paint-spray booth and a 24’ Gerber Cutter.

As part of our commitment to continuous quality improvement, we follow a lean manufacturing model effected through mistake proofing, managing material utilization and an ongoing assessment of non-core activities to maximize efficiency and quality standards.
